I never thought I’d drink milk again.
Maybe you’re like me. You stopped drinking milk too.
Perhaps you’re lactose intolerant or allergic.
Or you took a good look at what “Big Dairy” was doing… (injecting drugs into sick cows and milking them with machines)… and you said no way.
But then —
While on holidays, I went on a road trip with an old high school buddy… and I discovered…
The only “real milk” left on planet Earth.
Now, I know, that sounds like an exaggeration. But it’s not.
Because what I’m about to share with you is not raw cow milk. It’s not soy, almond nor rice milk either.
In fact, I’m going tell you why those “alternative milks” are actually worse than pasteurized milk you buy at grocery stores.
So if you desperately miss real milk… in your coffee, tea or just a nice tall cool glass of it… Read on…
But first, allow me to introduce myself…
My Name is Walid and I’m addicted to biohacking.
That’s when you look for ways to get fit… super fast and efficient.
No, I’m not talking about drugs. I’m talking about bleeding edge health science, diets and workout routines.
Things like Crossfit, Paleo and Organic GMO-free food.
You may have heard of those things. It’s about getting more for less.
Eating only the most nutritious foods. Exercising efficiently. “Hacking” your health.
To me, anything else doesn’t make sense.
I mean, think about it…
If we’re going to put food into our bodies, and there’s only so much room in our stomach…
Enough for just three square meals a day (or six small ones if you’re a grazer)…
Shouldn’t we make sure we put the best, MOST NUTRITIOUS, MOST EFFICIENT, MOST ENERGY-GIVING food possible?
Why would you “fill up” with cheap carbs or processed foods or junk sugars that don’t feed you properly?
And that’s at the core of my biohacking philosophy. Giving my body the best fuel possible.
And to me, what’s more representative of that than milk?
Milk is the first meal practically every single human being on Earth eats when they come into this world.
From the mother’s breast, that colostrum is jam-packed with antibodies to boost the baby’s immune system and protect it against disease.
Think about that. The mother is literally giving her newborn the blueprints to a defense system.
In fact, for the longest time, midwives and physicians believed that babies would die without this first colostrum meal.
And we continue to drink milk throughout our childhood!
But if you’re like me, you might have stopped drinking it sometime after your teenage years. Maybe you grew out of it. Maybe you became lactose-intolerant.
Or maybe… you started digging into this whole Big Dairy business, and you realized how crazy the whole industry is.
You see, when I got serious about looking into it raw milk and its health benefits, I also researched the milk you and I grew up on.
Cow milk.
And what I found scared the living daylights out of me… and made me angry.
Truth is…
Milk is Worse For You Than You Thought
You may have already heard how bad cow milk is, but maybe not how bad.
So let me start with this…
Did you know the average dairy cow can produce about 600 gallons of milk a year?
That sounds like a lot. It feeds 25 families.
But guess what? Those were 1950 numbers.
Today, dairy cows produce 3,000 gallons on average… with some going up to 6,000 gallons of milk a year.
In other words, one cow went from feeding 25 families… to 250.
I don’t know about you…
But a cow is a cow is a cow, right? Surely, they haven’t evolved in sixty years to suddenly making five to TEN TIMES more milk than what it normally produces!
What happened, then?
If you said antibiotics, growth hormones, force feeding cows unnatural foods like corn, soy and grains…
And making it so they can barely walk or lie down and being chronically sick…
You’ve just begun to scratch the surface.
You see, with this much milk, a lot of processing goes on.
In fact…
Mass Produced Cow Milk Is So Processed, It’s Making You Sick
Have you ever sat down and really thought about why we pasteurize milk?
It sounds like good idea on the surface.
You pour gallons and gallons of milk into a vat, “flash-heat” it at 280ºF for two seconds, and finally rapidly chill it down.
When you do “Flash Pasteurization”, you kill all the bad bacteria.
That’s the reason they tell you. But here are two real reasons why they pasteurize milk…
1. First of all, you have to ask yourself: Where’s this bad bacteria coming from?
Did milk always have so much bad bacteria? We drank milk for thousands of years before this.
Or could it be because we’re milking drugged up cows who are constantly ill living in disgusting unliveable conditions?
According to the USDA, 1 in 6 dairy cows suffer from “clinical mastitis”.
That’s when the cow’s udder gets infected. When this happens, the milk from the cow has “neutrophils”, an inflammatory immune cell that form pus.
This, along with bacteria like E. Coli, Salmonella… caused by the unclean industry itself… is why we pasteurize milk.
Put another way, we pasteurize milk because we need to solve the problems Big Dairy created in the first place!
But another reason we pasteurize milk is because…
2. It simply increases shelf-life.
From the moment it’s pasteurized and chilled, milk can survive from 60 to 90 days before it expires.
That’s a long time.
That gives everyone in Big Dairy… from the processing plant, to the distributors, to your grocery store more time to sell you this milk before it spoils.
(By the way, milk in its natural state should only last three weeks at most.)
And let’s not forget…
Because of this “Flash Pasteurization” that Big Dairy does… the milk you buy at groceries have a “slightly-cooked” flavor.
Have you noticed that?
What’s more…
This long shelf-life comes at a heavy price…
Because when you pasteurize milk, you’re not only killing bad bacteria… you’re also killing the enzymes, proteins, probiotics and prebiotics in the original milk.
What’s more, a lot of times, the good fat in milk (essential fatty acids) have been skimmed off to make butter, cheese and ice cream.
And if you take away all the good nutrients, good bacteria and good fat…
What exactly do you have left when you buy a gallon of milk at the grocery store?
I hate to say it…
But you’ve just bought yourself a jug of very expensive “white water.” I like to call it “dead milk”.
Funny thing is — Big Dairy knows this and fortifies their milk with vitamin D and A as a selling point.
It’s like someone offering to give you ten pennies for a dollar and arguing you get “more stuff”.
But this isn’t even the worse of it. You see…
Big Dairy Doesn’t Care If You Get Sick
If you look at the FDA’s very own website, you might see this:
That’s right. Milk is the number one allergen in America.
The same milk doctors encourage kids to drink and grow strong bones and all that… is the #1 allergen according to the FDA.
What’s going on here?
Here’s the deal:
Long story short, it comes down to money.
As you may know, there are many breeds of cows. You may have heard of their names too: Jersey, Holstein and Guernseys.
90% of dairy cows in America are Holsteins.
But the problem is, Holstein cow milk has a protein called A1 beta-casein.
And in a recent study by the Israeli Medical Associations Journal showed that A1 beta-casein…
- May weaken your immune system…
- May cause inflammation in your gut
- Can lead to Type 1 diabetes!
So in short – American milk makes people sick.
So why would they still use Holstein cows instead of Jersey, Guernsey or any others that produce a healthier A2 beta-casein protein?
Because they simply produce more milk. Remember, it’s all about quantity and profits here. Not quality.
In other words, when you buy milk at the grocery store, you’re not only buying “dead milk” that has had most of its nutrients boiled out of it…
It’s likely to make you sick too.
And here’s the kicker…
Even If You Don’t Drink Milk, You’re Buying It On April 15th Every Year…
A gallon of milk in 1950 was 82¢. If you adjust that price for inflation, that same gallon should technically be $9.87 today.
And yet, who here has ever paid that much for milk?
Now you could say this is a good thing. Big Dairy found a way to pass its savings to you, the consumer. Hurray!
After all, their cows are producing more milk than ever!
But did they though?
According to EWG’s Farm Subsidy Database, dairy program subsidies in the U.S. totalled $5.6 billion between 1995-2014.
In other words, you the taxpayer (whether you bought milk at the grocery store or not), paid for milk.
That’s not the worst of it.
Guess what Big Dairy did with that subsidy money? They turned right back to Washington and lobbied for more!
OpenSecrets.org reveals they spend up to $8 million a year doing this.
In fact, just last year, Congress was asking the USDA to bail out Big Dairy!
CNBC got cheeky and called it “quantitative cheesing”. But there was no joke here. Your elected representative gave them $20 million.
Don’t mistake it for anything else: Cow milk is big business.
Wait A Minute Here… Are You Going to Tell Me About “Raw Milk”?
Now, I know I just spent several minutes telling you how “bad” milk is.
But the truth is — as you already know — milk in its original form is really good for you.
After all, babies drink milk. Kids drink milk. Milk is a foundational food and it’s one of the most efficient ways to feed our bodies.
And when milk is in its raw form, it’s jam packed with…
Calcium, protein, vitamin C, B-vitamins… Minerals like magnesium, potassium and zinc… It’s got good fat, the kind that feeds our brain…
Unfortunately of course, the way Big Dairy pasteurizes milk destroys a lot of that good stuff.
But yeah, raw milk in its purest form is extremely nutritious. It’s a hyper-efficient food.
The kind of efficient food a biohacking CrossFit nut like me loves. It’s what cow milk was meant to be.
But the problem is — it’s illegal for most states to sell it retail. It’s legal in California, but there are only two brands I know of in California.
So if you want raw cow milk, you have to buy direct from a farmer. Which means you have to know who the good farmers are. Who to trust and who not to.
Because if you get a bad farmer, you’ll get contaminated milk which can make you really sick.
What’s more, these farmers are not allowed to sell across state lines either. Not for health reasons, but for political reasons which I don’t have time to get into.
In short, raw milk is extremely hard to get your hands on.
It’s so difficult that I’ve heard of underground online secret groups on Facebook and other social media sites selling raw milk.
That’s crazy!
So no, I don’t recommend you go to an online black market to get your raw milk fix.
So where does that leave you?
Why Alternative Milk Like Soy, Almond and Rice Isn’t The Answer Either
Now, a lot of people turn to “alternative milks” like soy, almond and rice milk.
They’re really trendy these days.
But the scary thing is… a lot of them are actually worse than Big Dairy milk.
I’ll start with the most popular one: soy milk.
Soybeans are the 2nd largest crop in the USA after corn and 90% of it are genetically modified care of Monsanto.
As you can imagine, because it’s such a profitable crop, they use a lot of herbicides to protect it… such as glyphosate or “Roundup” (which is also from Monsanto).
In a 2012 study done at University of Pittsburgh, they found that just 3 parts per million of Roundup in water changed the basic structure of frogs.
In another German study, they found 5PPM of Roundup affected the gut bacteria of poultry.
With that in mind, the EPA has said 20 parts per million (PPM)… that’s TWENTY, not 3 or 5… of Roundup residue on soy is safe for humans.
Hmmm….
Add to this, soy has been proven to increase estrogen levels.
In a Scientific American article, they revealed soy can “reduce fertility in women, trigger early puberty and disrupt development of fetuses and children.”
In short, soy milk is the worst alternative milk you can possibly put in your body. I would go so far as to argue it’s worse than pasteurized cow milk!
What about rice milk?
Well, first of all, the rice in rice milks often bleached, which means they’ve vacuumed the nutrients out of it already.
And because of that, as you may know, highly processed white rice causes inflammation.
What’s more…
Although it hasn’t proven to be at dangerous levels, the FDA is monitoring the arsenic levels in rice since 2011.
So while it’s “safe”, it’s not exactly healthy either.
I would not recommend drinking too much rice milk in your diet.
What about almond milk?
Almonds are one of the most healthful foods on planet Earth, filled with vitamins, minerals and protein.
So you would think the milk equivalent would be just as good right?
It sounds good in theory, but when you look at it, how many almonds do you think are in a gallon of almond milk?
A cup? Half-a cup? According to a shocking expose on Business Insider, it was revealed it’s just over a handful.
That sounds like a scam to me.
So what are you really drinking when you have a glass of almond milk?
Well, to answer that question you need to ask…
What Are You Really Drinking When You Drink ANY “Alternative Milk”?
The truth is, when you extract milk from a soybean, almond nut or rice… it’s not really milk!
This sounds obvious, but it needs to be pointed out. Calling it “milk” is a bald-faced lie.
Here’s how you get “milk” out of a nut, bean or rice:
First, you squeeze the heck out of it, crushing it, pressing the oil out. Or in the case of almonds, you soak it in water until the oil is “released”.
With that oil, you then blend it with water. A lot of water.
So in short, you really buying water with a bit of oil in it.
But that’s not the worse of it.
You see, because this oil water looks nothing like milk (because it isn’t milk)…
You then have to also add a bunch of other unnatural ingredients to it like…
Thickeners like carrageenan.
Carrageenan’s known side effects include gas, bloating, diarrhea and fatigue. Scientists have petitioned the FDA to reconsider its safety as a food additive.
And many of these “milks” also add sugar additives like high-fructose corn syrup or substitutes like Sucralose, aspartame or acesulfame.
In other words, most “alternative milks” are no better than pop drinks. It’s sugared water with chemical additives.
And if I haven’t said this enough times yet, let me say it a third time: THEY’RE NOT MILK… in any sense of the word.
There’s no calcium and minimal nutrients or vitamins with alternative milk.
As you can guess…
This got me extremely frustrated.
Why is it so hard to get
“REAL MILK”?
Well, if you’re like me, you believe…
Sometimes, the universe works in mysterious ways to give you the answers you need.
And around this time, I was getting ready to take a holiday break from school to go back home to Jeddah…
The Pilgrimage to Mecca That Changed My Life…
So here I am, summer of 2012, home for the holidays for two weeks during Hajj.
Hajj occurs in the last month of the Islamic calendar in August.
It’s when you’re supposed to make a pilgrimage to Mecca if you can afford to according to the Qu’ran.
But during that time, we also reconnect with family, relatives and old friends.
One of them was a old high school buddy named Mairouk. He’s from Bangladesh.
We both went to a British International School together in Jeddah.
Funny thing growing up in a British school… we all got our heads filled with more 90s pop culture than most American kids.
You can quiz me anytime.
Friends. Everyone Loves Raymond. Home Improvement. You name it, I’ve watched it.
Anyway –
On this holiday, Mairouk and I decided to make the pilgrimage to Mecca together.
It was something I’ve done a few times, but Mairouk hadn’t.
Little did I know, this one trip would change my life forever.
As I mentioned already, during this time, I was into CrossFit, biohacking and Paleo.
And one day, while on the pilgrimage, I was craving raw milk. I figured, it must be easier to get out here than America. On a whim, I told Mairouk about this.
He looked at me incredulously. “Dude, you can’t get raw milk in this heat. We’re out in the desert where the Bedouins live. It’ll spoil. It’s too hot!”
And when I heard that, I thought, well, at least you can get it here. Back in my adopted home of America, it was next to impossible.
But then Mairouk had a twinkle in his eye, “You know what your best bet is?”
I said, “What?”
He told me to stay where I was and he left the hotel room.
Bewildered at his sudden departure and with nothing to do, I watched some T.V. (It was the one where Ross breaks up with Rachel).
Two hours later, Mairouk comes back to the room with a plastic bag filled with white liquid. He cut it open and poured me a glass. “Here. Try this.”
I said, “What is it?”
And he said, “Don’t worry about it. Just try it first. I’ll tell you later.”
I trusted Mairouk. And I took a swig of it. It was rich, creamy with a slight sweetness to it.
It tasted like milk… the way it was meant to be. The way it used to be.
I was instantly transported back to my childhood.
Do you remember what it was like when you drank milk growing up?
Back when they delivered it in glass bottles to your doorstep… or you could buy them in plastic bags?
If you grew up in the 80s like I did, you know what I mean.
This was before Genentech and Monsanto figured out they could manufacture artificial Bovine Growth Hormone (or BGH for short)…. and got the FDA to approve it in 1993.
Back then, milk still tasted like… milk.
Now, I’m not saying it was all good. Even back then, dairy cows were subjected to antibiotics, feedlots and a corn diet.
Basically everything we talked about a few minutes ago.
But… it wasn’t as bad as it is today… Yet.
There was an innocent beauty to milk back then… and I was tasting it again here in the middle of the desert on my way to Mecca.
I could make a comment about the biblical land of milk and honey… but that would be really cheesy.
So what was this mysterious raw milk my friend got for me?
Well you wouldn’t believe it if I told you.
It was camel milk.
That’s right. Milk from a camel, just like how the Bedouins in the desert drink it.
Milk From A Camel?
That Sounds Crazy!
So before you run to the hills thinking I’m insane for suggesting something as out there as drinking camel’s milk…
Just hear me out, OK?
Obviously, if you didn’t grow up in the desert, the only time you would’ve seen a real live camel was probably at a zoo.
But out here, camel milk is considered a highly prized gift.
Most Arab families give this milk to friends and family as a way to honor them when they visit their home.
So even though I grew up in Jeddah, I’ve only had camel’s milk once or twice before as a child… and didn’t realize how special it was.
That is, until Mairouk got me some that day on our pilgrimage… under the context of it being “raw milk” for my CrossFit biohacking obsession.
It’s funny how your perception of things changes depending on what stage of life you’re in.
Well, anyway…
I thought, this stuff is good. But is it really good?
I Looked Into The Science of Camel Milk… And It Blew Me Away!
Here are 8 Reasons Why Camel Milk Is a Bona-Fide SuperFood
1
You can drink camel milk if you’re lactose-intolerant… or even you’re allergic!
So, first of all, camel milk has some lactose but doesn’t contain the A1 casein protein you get in American cow milk.
It has the A2 casein protein.
As you recall, the A1 casein protein is the one that lowers your immune system, creates allergic reactions and can even lead to Type 1 diabetes.
So if you’re allergic to cow milk, you’re fine here.
Furthermore, camel milk doesn’t have lactoglobulin like cow milk does.
That’s the stuff that reacts to you if you’re lactose-intolerant.
This was huge!
Over 70% of Americans are lactose intolerant. And I bet you many of them miss milk. Now they could drink milk again.
And that’s not all…
One recent study has proven that camel milk can even make you less intolerant to other foods!
2
Camel milk is brimming with proteins. Over 200 of them.
A Cambridge journal reveals that they found tons of “protective proteins” in camel milk.
Proteins with complicated names like lysozyme, lactoferrin, lactoperoxidase, immunoglobulin G and secretory immunoglobulin A.
Now, biohackers like me obsess over this stuff. And I don’t want to bore you with too much science.
But let’s just say these proteins have powerful immune factors like bringing a gun to a knife fight.
Research shows camel milk supercharged with immune and growth factors.
What’s more, camel milk is a “complete protein”. That means it has the 9 essential amino acids that our body needs but can’t produce on its own.
That’s pretty powerful.
And that’s not all, because…
3
Camel milk boosts your immune system
All those immunoglobulins I just mentioned don’t just fight bad guys in your body…
Just like original cow milk before it got all messed up by Big Dairy…
Milk contains a ton of antibodies and enzymes to protect you.
And what’s more, camel milk immunoglobulins are smaller than human ones.
This means when it hits your bloodstream, they have more “access”. They pass into tissues more easily.
They’re like the Navy SEAL, Marine Corp and Green Berets rolled into one.
They get into places others can’t and do serious damage on bad guys.
4
Camel milk has more vitamins and minerals
Now, in many ways, camel milk is just like cow milk.
It has essential minerals our body needs like calcium, potassium, and phosphorus…
But here’s what makes camel milk superior…
According to studies done by San Diego Zoo, camel milk has more fat and protein.
And… it also has seven times more B1 vitamins than cow milk.
B1, also known as thiamine, helps the body process carbs and boosts your immune system, helps with digestion and keeps your nervous system working.
And that’s not the only thing working on your brain, because…
5
Camel milk supports your gut micro-biome
You’ve probably heard how important your gut is. Words like “gut flora” and “good bacteria” and “probiotics”.
In fact, our gut is our first line of defense against disease.
Well, you’ll be happy to hear that camel milk has been proven to support gut health with its pre and probiotics.
6
Camel milk feeds your brain
Because camel milk is naturally homogenized…
That is, the good fat doesn’t float up like cow milk does and is already “mixed in” with the rest of the milk…
Most camel milk farmers don’t “steal” the good fat for cheese, cream and butter.
This means you’re getting more “good fat” in camel milk.
The essential fatty acids that our brains crave.
The “good fat” that feeds your cells and energizes you… not the “bad fat” that goes straight to your thighs and butt and clogs up your arteries.
In fact, compared to cow milk, camel milk has twice to three times as much as “good fat”.
And that’s even before they’ve skimmed off all the good stuff in cow milk!
7
Camel milk has insulin-like molecules… and is diabetic friendly!
I kid you not.
In one study, they found it to reduce blood sugar levels.
In another, they found that the high levels of calcium in camel milk helps maintain healthy blood sugar levels already within normal limits.
And in a 2005 study out of India they discover that camel milk was diabetic friendly.
And when I discovered this…
I had to find out how else people have used camel’s milk for health reasons.
Aside from maintaining healthy blood sugar already within normal limits due to its calcium levels…
Camel milk was also known to be tolerant to people with allergies… improve heart and blood health… and even boost your immune system.
That last point is important, because some scientists believe the gut and brain are connected known as the gut-brain axis
And in a 2005 study in the International Journal of Human Development, they had patients consume camel milk instead of cow milk.
Camel milk promoted good bacteria in the gut and gave stronger support for a child’s healthy mentality and behavior
8
Camel milk is nutritionally closer to breast milk than cow milk
Remember when I was harping on about how our very first meal on planet Earth is our mother’s milk…
And how important colostrum is?
Well the truth is, camel milk is used around the world to supplement or even replace breast milk where the mom can’t nurse.
In fact, in a scientific study done at Alexandria university, they found that camel milk was very close to human milk.
Now when I discovered all these facts about camel milk…
I just knew I had to add it to my biohacking, CrossFit diet.
Unfortunately…
Camel Milk Was Harder to Get Than Raw Cow Milk!!!
OK, camel milk sounds pretty awesome right? Personally, I was thrilled.
I thought, this is REAL MILK. This is what milk used to be like. The kind of wholesome, delicious, nutritious milk that feeds the body.
I had to get more of it. I had to get it back home for training.
But when I got back to school after my holidays and started hunting down where I could get camel milk in the U.S.…
I found it next to impossible to get.
As of today, there are only 5,000 camels in America.
They are spread out all over the country in small family farms.
So I took matters into my own hands.
Now, up until now, I’ve told you I’m a CrossFit nut. But I never told you what I was studying at USC.
It was entrepreneurialism.
And guess what I did for my final school year project before graduating with my Bachelor’s in Business?
If you said, figuring out how to build a business around camel milk… you’re absolutely right.
And that’s exactly what I’ve been doing for the last four years.
Allow me to introduce you to
Over the last four years, I’ve travelled the entire country, visiting family farms…
From the Amish… to Mennonites… to abandoned cow dairy farms
I’ve travelled to over 30 states to find camel farms who meet my level of standards and criteria… and who I would want to partner with.
Today, I’ve found six farms in six states I’m proud to be working with. Here’s a map of the family farms I’m working with:
And frankly, it’s been a huge ride.
I’ve been interviewed on WSJ, LA Times and Huffpost. In fact, my company “Desert Farms” has been featured in all these media outlets:
And while I’m just starting out, I’ve already managed to get distribution at places like Dean & Delouca and these other natural stores:
But the best part about starting my own business in America, following my passion and bring it to the world?
It’s talking to my customers. I’ve met triathlon athletes, doctors, trainers, restaurant owners and mothers in my journey of getting camel milk out there.
Just check out some of their videos and testimonials below.
“Sure, you could get your recovery, muscle repair, gut healing, protein synthesis and growth factors from some kind of modern, special, engineered frankenfuel – or you could do like I do and go straight to nature’s perfectly packaged protein source in the most bioavailable form known to humankind: camel’s milk. I do it, and I highly recommend it for enhancing recovery speed, muscle growth, gut function and much more!”

If you like it, I have a “free shipping” program that ensures you get a constant supply of camel milk throughout the year.
But before we get ahead of ourselves, there’s something important you need to know…
You Need to HURRY AND ACT FAST! We Only Have Six Family Farms And There May Be A Wait List Already!
Here’s the deal…
Since I started this business in 2014, I have grown it to a network of six family farms totalling 200 camels.
That may sound like a lot… but it’s not. Compared to cow milk, there are 9.3 million dairy cows in America.
And for us on a good day, we’re able to produce about 600 bottles or 75 gallons of milk… which again, is a drop in the bucket compared to Big Dairy.
(What’s more, as you now know, cows produce a whole lot of more milk than camels do).
Now the reason I bring up all these numbers is because after you do a bunch of math… We’re only able to service about 1,000 families right now and we already have 3,000 regular customers.
Last month, the wait-list for new customers was between 3-weeks to a month.
Of course, I’m always doing my best to expand and carefully choose more farms that share our same philosophy, values and quality standards…
However, the point still stands…
I want you to try this milk!

“I don’t recommend cow’s milk for two main reasons: a lot of people are sensitive to it and it is also a strong promoter of weight gain. Camel’s milk is NOT “insulinogenic” like cow’s milk, Camel milk can actually help stabilize blood sugar, meaning it’ll keep you from riding that blood sugar roller coaster with the spikes and drop, thats why Camel Milk from Desert Farms is the only animal milk I recommend.”

P.S. Some people recently wrote me and asked what happened to Mairouk, the good friend I went on the pilgrimage to Mecca with and reintroduced me to camel’s milk.
Well, he’s actually studying engineering at the University of Toronto. We write each other once in a while and yes, I send him Desert Farm camel milk as a token of appreciation.
P.S. Are you still here? Is it because you have a few questions? Here are some frequently asked questions I get all the time…
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Is camel milk expensive?
It isn’t when you really think about it.
You see, with cow milk, if it wasn’t for heavy lobbying, subsidies and hormones…
A gallon of milk should technically be $9.82 adjusted for inflation.
But cow milk is cheap because it’s essentially “dead milk”. All the fat, nutrients and goodness has been stripped away or boiled out.
PLUS – Here’s something else you need to know about camel’s milk:
You don’t chug it like cow milk.
In fact, we recommend you drink only 2 to 4 ounce a day. This is potent stuff!
Remember, camel milk has more protein, more fat, more B1 vitamins and more colostrum-like qualities than any other milk out there.
Q. What is “batch pasteurization”?
Instead of boiling the milk intensely at 280ºF and chilling it rapidly like what Big Dairy does… (which is called “flash pasteurization”)….
We heat the milk in small batches at the lowest possible temperature (154.4ºF) instead.
This way, we still kill the bad bacteria… but it retains all the other vitamins, enzymes, fat, min-erals and protein. I should also note that camel’s milk has been proven to be much more heat-resistant than cow milk.
So if you’re interested in pasteurized camel milk, we can do that for you. There’s a box you can check off when you request your 4 free 8oz bottles of camel milk on the next page.
