This A-plus dad could teach Instagram parents a thing or two about taking baby pictures.
Andreas Miezans, a 33-year-old father from Norway, is taking the job of documenting his son Oscar’s babyhood very seriously.

“It just started out as a way of bonding with my son and it’s gone absolutely crazy,” said Andreas.

Originally from Sweden and now residing in Norway, the photos are a way for Andreas to share photos of Oscar to his family back home.

Armed with a camera and an extensive knowledge of photo editing, the father-and-son duo have done some impressive shoots together.

“I actually had the idea in my head before Oscar was even born. I love taking pictures and I wanted to make something we could look back on and laugh,” Andreas said.

“It started as something fun to show my family and friends on social media because I am originally from Sweden,” he added.

“About twice a week I’ll take my camera out and just try to make the best of whatever situation we are in.”

“Oscar is very co-operative and will generally go along with whatever I do…; I set the camera up on a 10-second timer and then I have to run back into place,” Andreas shared.

The thought behind the outrageous poses is touching: “The idea is for these not to be normal baby pictures. I wanted to try something different to put a smile on Oscar’s face when he looks back at them.”

“We get 10 weeks of parental leave in Norway and I have booked another four weeks of vacation. It’s great to spend so much time with him,” said the doting dad.

Andreas’ 28-year-old nurse girlfriend, Kristine WÃ¥le, is very supportive of his hobby.

“(She) doesn’t get involved in any of the photos, but she is 100 per cent behind them,” he explained. “She can see it’s good for my relationship with Oscar.”

The couple have a son named Isaac, who is turning one in a few days. Looks like there’ll be two flying/cartwheeling/generally awesome babies in the photos from now on.
